The United States battleship, USS New York has been commissioned and starts it voyage in New York harbor today for its maiden voyage and will delivered a 21-gun salute after the Ground Zero. The USS New York is a battleship made from steel of the World Trade Center which cost $1 Billion.

The US Navy assault vessel composed of 7.5 tones of steel from a recycled steel of World Trade Center crackdown by a terrorist attack last September 11, 2001. Right now, it’s been officially commissioned for the namesake of the city on Saturday.

Families of those killed in World Trade Center attack gathered to witness the USS New York on the waterfront of Manhattan to watch the 684 ft warship glide up to the Hudson River and past the World Trade Center nearby river area with its sailor standing in attention on the deck.
