Recently the Daily Show returned after a three-week break and it was the longest in the history of show. Last August, it was a surprisingly exciting month for the show, Stewart paying attention to the events of the recent week while taking Joe Wilson for his explosion at president and the Fox News for its live broadcast of the recent tea party protest happening in Washington DC.
He started a segment by showing clips of Sean Hannity and Michelle Malkin show criticize Bush's activists and called them "extremists" tossing "temper tantrum." He put together his words with their admiring live broadcast of the protest.
