She's the woman who conquered Dean Winchester's heart in "Supernatural": Lisa Braeden, played by Cindy Sampson. In this interview Cindy talks about her thoughts on the relationship between Dean and Lisa, how she landed the role and what she felt like at her first fan convention...



... Q: You play Lisa on "Supernatural" but you actually auditioned for another role, is that right? What happened?

Cindy Sampson: "I screen tested for Bela, but didn’t end up getting the part. My friends were devastated - ha. A couple weeks later I was offered the role of Lisa and when I read the script WHOA!! The coolest part is I never expected to be in season 5 or 6. It’s been a pretty amazing character to play.:

Q: The fans are very critical about the girls in Sam's and Dean's life and you ended up playing the one girl the fans were actually glad to see Dean start a family with. What is it in your opinion about Lisa that's so essentially right for Dean?

Cindy Sampson: "I think Lisa respects and understands Dean. He saved Ben... so, he's a hero in her eyes. I'm not sure she was SO right for him, but she was there when he needed and she knew HOW to be there for him. Until he turned into a vampire, of course..."

Mark Sheppard, star of the CW’s hit series SUPERNATURAL, was at Comic-Con 2011 to do a panel about the show. Before taking the stage with some of the cast, Mark sat down to answer a few questions.

In the interview Mark doesn’t believe it when he’s told that Crowley will be back in season 7 and decides to get confirmation for himself from the source, gives us a little more insight into Crowley, his opinions of the show as a fan himself and how much he loves working on it, what he loves most about his fans, and much more! (plus, he also noticed my ‘Church of Castiel’ shirt, which made me extremely happy.)

As a man in his mid 20s Matt Cohen played the father of the Winchester boys, John Winchester no less, on "Supernatural". Together with Amy Gumenick he portrayed the Winchester parents at young age. Here Matt talks about the good chemistry between the "Supernatural" actors and also tells us a little bit his other projects at one of which he met his wife...



... Q: You played the young John Winchester on "Supernatural". Did you study the way Jeffrey Dean Morgan played the older version of the character before shooting your scenes?

Matt Cohen: "I did study and watch Jeffrey's work on "Supernatural" before playing the role. Even more importantly I studied his portrayal of Denny on "Grey's Anatomy". The reason for this, is I play John before is really thrust into the dark side of demon hunting and I wanted him to have a naive innocence about him. I wanted him to be a real guy, that was experiencing the demon world for the first time..."
