Whitney Port is heading back to high school -- digitally, at least.
The designer of the eponymous Whitney Eve line is teaming up with teen accessories store Claire's for its latest digital push, dishing out style tips to prom-bound high schoolers.
Teens visiting clairespromstyle.com will first be greeted with a 10-question quiz to discover their personal style profile, the results of which can be shared on Twitter, Facebook and over e-mail.
They can then watch videos of Port offering tips and styling tricks related to their newly discovered fashion personas.
"These girls want to interact with one another and relate to a lifestyle like their own," said Richard Christiansen, founder and creative director of Chandelier Creative, which helped develop the initiative. "We took Claire's Web site to the next level and created a spontaneous and interactive environment that these girls cannot only log onto, but also relate to and discuss together in school the next day."
Some of Port's biggest tips include wearing comfortable shoes and choosing an updo. "There is a lot of dancing, and it's no fun to be fussing with your hair all night," she told WWD.
If she were given a prom-night do-over, the reality star said she would have gone "way more out of the box" than the gold beaded mini dress and simple jewelry she wore, maybe choosing a funkier cocktail dress.
