CNN recently confirmed the death of "The Golden Girls" star, Rue McClanahan from a statement of her manager Barbara Lawrence. She passed away at the age of 76 from a massive stroke that and leave with her family around her. She was proclaimed dead at around 1:00 P.M. last Monday. According to her medical history, Rue previously survived a breast cancer and she even over a bypass operation of her heart way back in 1997 and 2009 respectively but sad to say, a stroke cause her to take a rest forever.
According to her bibliography, Rue McClanahan is a graduate of German and Theater course at University of Tulsa and made a shining career in stage play way back in 1970's. She's been remembered in her role in "Mama's Family" and "Maude". And the most remembered role she made which could let her fans remember her in some other way is when she was debuted to play Blanche Devereaux in "The Golden Girls".
